Architecture has long been driven by an anthropocentric approach. Human activities related to the built environment have been carried out by and for humans. Although humans are starting to lose their connection with the natural environment, this alienation does not imply independence from the ecosystem. Humans depend on natural elements: clean air, fresh water, nourishment from fertile soil. In Hungary, floods, inland waters, and droughts currently pose one of the biggest challenges. The developed plan presents the creation of a landscape use that is in harmony with nature, providing space for water, nature, and humans alike. The landscape design was assisted by the research on floodplain reservoirs conducted by László Koncsos and Gábor Murányi. The plan includes an animation that conveys the mindset striving to transcend humanism, seeking a balance where humans do not rise above water and nature. https://youtu.be/aNi5N_yVljA
