the most striking aspect about Lili’s life for me is her contemplation on faith. she wasn't bound by the religion she was raised in or the one she was later forced into. she didn't doubt her faith; instead, she reinforced it with increasingly diverse layers and meanings. in the exhibition, i created a situation where the church space preserves its own essence; provides a venue for the unfolding of Ország Lili's art and places participants in a spatial environment that encourages openness and acceptance. the white columns reinforce the vertical significance of the space, but their delicacy contrasts with the church walls. in the center of the space, there is a "soul", made of three layers of delicate material. this mass illuminates the exhibition, with its spaces formed between the gently undulating veil and the robust walls of the church. in this inner, secluded space, there are no artworks. there's only us, the veil, and the light.
