The hustle and bustle of urban life compels us to seek places and moments where we can be quiet and sit back. In the modern city, we need spaces where we can rest—not only to filter out the cacophony, but also to allow for inner silence, personal reflection, and social interactions. But what kind of spaces provide opportunities for such moments?
Our architectural intervention aims to create a space that aligns with human scale and perception, quieting and shrinking the outside world, furthermore it shows a new perspective of the tegument. Our goal is for this space to have a positive impact on the mental health of urban citizens. The built enviroment, the lack of green spaces, air and noise pollution in the city center are a major concern for people living there and for those who visit. We aim to examine what tools can improve public spaces, how colors, scents, and the scale of buildings affect people.
