Art school

The task was to design an art school in Szentendre. The mass of the building would almost completely kill the urban atmosphere and traffic taht is already established here. The two traffic corridors and the covered-open space connecting them try to alleviate this. The basic idea behind the design of the interior is that the private spaces are located in boxes, while the public spaces are located in the complementary space between the boxes. The diversity of these spatial elements and the ramp system that winds through the masses and forms the exhibition space located in the gallery are meant to create an inspiring creative environment for the students studying.
