Bike stop and café

The designated plot is situated on the bank of the Sebes-Körös, nestled between a narrow, green waterfront and a suburban block. The fundamental concept for the planned building - and the spaces it creates - was to form a transition between the park and the built environment. Along this idea, the main mass which is connected to the adjacent firewall, pulling towards the houses, and the two pavilions are connected more to the park. I designed a crossing movement on the narrow, green strip along the river, bringing life to the park. As you move towards the block, the buildings follow along this line, ending in the mass of the café.
