BME Exaggeration House

Exaggeration is a necessary part of the creative process. It encourages bold, free decisions, generates playfulness and diverse perspectives. It is linked to exploration and the search for answers. With its design, choice of materials, and playful appearance, the Túlzóház aims to inspire this mindset in students. Within the framework of the semester, the design received a new mission: to tame the necessary exaggerations developed in Complex 1, with a deeper focus on technical content. Its playful system was retained, but its appearance and use of space took on a more practical form. The essence of the project lies in exploring structural and system-level relationships and making well-considered decisions following a principle-driven dream.
