CASTRUM

The site is located at Szentendre, the design task was to design a visitor centre, which presents the neighbouring ancient roman ruins-accordingly to their historical significance. The design program contains an archaeologist exhibition, educational spaces, and spaces of maintanance. The concept of the building is based on the site's connection to the ruins, and the path of the visitors throughout the building, which is designed to present the history of this exceptional site as versatile as possible.
