Community courtyard of Zebegény

The new community courtyard, located on the hillside of Zebegény’s former mill, serves the residents and elementary school students with its four small buildings. The pavilion buildings provide an opportunity to hold art and practical classes for children, complementing the school spaces. The older generation can pass on the secrets of old recipes to the younger ones in the communal kitchen „Gombócoló”, while the „Fonó” offers a chance to learn about local traditions and crafts. The tower building offers a place for coffee, and locals can also use the upper floor as an office space. The buildings are surrounded by a large garden, where city events can also be held.
