Cultural Hub, Nagykanizsa

At the center of the Nagykanizsa I found this cultural node of the city. My project is a Culture Hub, where local people come together with artists, and researches for conferences and events. In my proposal this “Hub” consist of : permanent and temporary exhibition halls, individual workshops for artists, group workshops for artists, art salon, library / research center, conference hall, management offices, aula. The site is close to the city’s main public square, where festivals and events are held. There are many restaurants, cafes, and shops. Within itself, the formation of the site plays an important role in Nagykanizsa’s history. The synagogue, the core of the site, was built before everything else, surrounding it by buildings later, getting finally a very interesting “surrounded” shape courtyard. This inside space is very introverted, has a mysterious beauty, that impressed me a lot.
