Field garden

Materials are at the heart of the concept. The function and spaces of the building contribute to their understanding, preparation, trade and consumption. The architectural aesthetic showcases the exposed surfaces of the building materials, with a particular emphasis on the locally sourced ceramic bricks as the key element. Wooden structural elements sit on the ceramic blocks like a hat. The external wooden pillars were reinforced with steel in order to keep them flat.
