Flexible Community Center

My project is a flexible community center. Due to the characteristics of the site, the building consists of two main mass: a larger, adaptable space and a more intimate, complex building section composed of smaller interconnected spaces. The two are linked by a landscaped green area. Flexibility was a key consideration throughout the entire project. Therefore, I designed a structural grid in each part of the building, onto which movable panels with different properties can be installed. Thanks to this system, the spaces in both parts of the building complex can be adapted to specific needs. They can accommodate workshops of various sizes, classrooms suitable for educational activities, larger spaces for exhibitions or events, as well as informal spaces intended to foster community life.
