Headquarters of Tiszavirág Folk Dance Ensemble

In my diploma thesis I designed a headquarters for my former folk dance ensemble, as the current rehearsal space no longer meets the needs of the dancers due to the continuous development of the group. This new building will give them a space where they can truly feel like a community. The new headquarters will include a small dance studio, a larger dance studio, a community space and a costume storage room. This function will be extended by a café unit on the ground floor as a lobby to the building, where dance workshops, parties can be held, making the building a real dance house. The café space can be opened up to the covered-open space in the courtyard. The ground floor would serve as a meeting point not only for the members of the company, but also for dancers from Szeged and the surrounding area, providing them with a community space in the heart of the city.
