House of Movement

The "House of Movement" was designed for the site at 11 Mihalik Sándor Street, Budafok. In the immediate vicinity of the location, there is a primary school, which influenced the design of the building and its surroundings. The one-way street on the northern side of the site has been converted into a pedestrian street for safer and more convenient access. The building is divided into three major sections, each sized according to its functional requirements. Ensuring the entry of natural light was a key consideration in the design of the House of Movement, which is why the ground floor - except for the side facing the neighbor - and the northern side of the upper floor are bordered by glass surfaces. The exterior of the building features hexagonal copper plates, while the interior is clad in wood.
