Public Building surrounded by alleys

I think the beauty of Szentendre is the scattered, hidden spaces that can be reached through narrow alleys. This inspired me for the design process. Design site “D” is surrounded by firewalls. The only value on it - at least for me - is the plastered wall around it, which was forgotten here from the past. This “fence” had to be protected, so I moved back from the street front with the new building. The idea of keeping a distance was also followed on the other sides, so that the house ended up in the middle of the plot, without any connection to the neighboring walls. Thanks to this edit, alleys were created around, of which the one with stairs on the north side is my favorite.
