Sopron Vegetable Market

The subject of my master's project is the transformation of the Sopron Market and Fair Hall, which was built in 1970 based on the plans of László Medvedt. In my study of the site and its function, I came to the conclusion that the building needed not only a formal but also a functional transformation. In my design, I propose to focus the function on selling vegetable products from the Sopron area. Unlike the current situation, I have done this in a less tied way. Local values, adapting to changing needs and working with schools in the area to educate about local produce were important in the design.
