In Tata the Old Lake and its coast are a unique phenomenon, where the built environment and untouched nature are present at the same time. This priority nature conservation area serves as a resting point for migrating wild geese. Despite, there is no adequate infrastructure for birding activities and their presentation. The planned comprehensive ecotourism development is connected to local developments aimed at revitalizing the lake. The Birding and Visitor Center hides in the reeds, thereby offering an opportunity to get to know and understand the activities of birders and the lake's wildlife and contribute to the protection of the area.
