The project aims to create a care home for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome, focusing on the needs of their specific conditions, aiming to create the ideal enviroment. In the ambivalent scenario of the grim connotation of the abandoned military site, and the idyllic valley itself, the plan is based on a similarly contradictory concept: It seeks to combine the necessarily structured and consistent spatial system with a sensitive and healing atmosphere. The home itself is integrated into the former order of the site, and divided into two units: the living space for the residents around the "cloister garden", and the nursing unit, which operates independently, and which is also given emphasis, aiming to relieve the heavy mental strain on the carers. All this is woven around the existing tower as a dropped jewel, softening the structured fabric. This is followed by the revitalisation of the valley, with functions important both to the home and to the local communities, thus engaging them.
