In my research I examined quality dimensions of the built environment and the architectural work in the base of business thinking and economic activity. Even though normally the logic of economics is considerably diverse from the value definition of architecture, my dissertation aims to demonstrate the relevance of an advanced architectural concept of quality in a corporate environment. I am also attempting to rethink and revaluate the cooperation between the designer and the client with regards to qualitative, social, conceptual and aesthetic questions. In my dissertation the detailed examples demonstrate that an architectural approach ‐ focusing on the cultural, social and environmental values created in corporate architecture ‐ can provide a long‐term, in‐depth foundation for a corporation’s social acceptance.
